This type of netting is ideal for barriers, debris containment systems, and scaffold enclosures.

Medium-Duty Debris/Objects involves tools, hardware, and other debris. Here, knit polyester is commonly used, with a larger mesh size, such as 3/8" x 1/2". The breaking strength (per ASTMD D) is 107 PSI (Warp) and 65 PSI (Fill). This style of netting can also function as barrier netting.

Larger, Heavier Debris/Objects includes materials like bricks, concrete pieces, and stacked items. For effective protection, a two-ply netting system is recommended. This consists of a 2" structural net underlay and a 3/8" or 1/8" debris net liner. The two layers are joined with 3" woven high tenacity polypropylene webbing and double-stitched using UV-treated #138 polyester thread. The design load is 2,000 lbs, with a test load of 1,200 lbs.* This system can also be applied for material tie-downs, shading, or open-pit covers, as well as window/access protection and mid-rail fencing.

People - The Most Precious Cargo! Fall protection is provided by personnel safety nets (PSNs). The material used for this purpose is 120 mm industrial-grade high tenacity nylon. This specialized fiber, developed by DuPont, has been the industry standard for fall safety since the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge. It exemplifies the saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
